Julie was a Tennessee Vols cheerleader in the late 90s and served as Captain in her senior year. She returned a few years later to coach the UT dance team, leading them to a second-place finish at the UDA Collegiate Dance Nationals. After five years of rewarding work at Children's Hospital Rehab Center, she opened Revolution Dance.

Cristin lewis

Cristin grew up in Murfreesboro, TN with 15 years of competitive dance experience. She was a member of The University of Tennessee Dance Team for 4 years and wrapped up her senior year by winning the national championship title with her teammates. Cristin began teaching at Revolution in 2013 and has been growing with the program ever since. She appreciates the special role of seeing her dancers develop new skills, a stronger internal passion and an extended bond with their teammates.
In addition to Revolution, Cristin was the technique coach and choreographer for Farragut High School Dance Team from 2015-2020. She currently serves as the assistant coach and jazz choreographer for the UT dance team. She also enjoys traveling to guest teach and choreograph.

Sonya comes to Revolution with a multitude of talents after being a high school teacher, stay at home mom, and owning her own wedding planning business.
She handles billing, competition registrations, and provides excellent customer service, returning emails and phone calls, and being one of several friendly faces at our front desk as well.

Ashley Williams

Ashley Williams is from Knoxville, TN where she spent her childhood dancing at Angela Floyd before finding her home at Revolution Dance. She was on the Bearden High School Dance Team and competed in both Pom and Jazz at the state and national levels. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Psychology. During her time on campus she danced with BOSS Dance Company for four years. She was given the opportunity to be a student choreographer for three years on BOSS before being hired as one of their professional choreographers. She has danced with several non-profit organizations in the Knoxville area such as Grounded, Momentum, and KnoxCAM. She joined the REV staff in 2019 as Director of the Performance Team and has enjoyed every moment since!

JORDAN Mclaughlin
RDC Lead Instructor
Jordan McLaughlin found her love for dance at an early age while training in Nashville, TN where she was born and raised. She attended a performing arts high school, Nashville School of the Arts, while also dancing competitively at DC Dance Factory. During her high school years Jordan was provided with several opportunities to travel the world and share her passion with others. For two years she danced on tour with Christian recording artists Nicole C. Mullen and Alvin Love.
Jordan is a graduate from the University of Tennessee Knoxville; earning her degree in Psychology. While in college, she was on the nationally ranked University of Tennessee Dance Team, where she currently holds two National Championship titles. Since graduation, Jordan has stayed in Knoxville and has become very involved within the dance community choreographing for over 10 years now.
