• Studio Policies

  • Please Read Carefully Before Registering

  • Registration

    • Registration is accepted June - November for 1st grade and up.
    • Registration is accepted June - January for 3 YRS - K.  
    • The $50 registration fee is discounted to $30 through July 31st. The registration fee is not pro-rated for late season registrations.
    • Students registering for one class after August will be assessed a recital surcharge of $15 per month that they were not enrolled. 
    • Students adding a 2nd or 3rd class after August will be assessed a recital surcharge of $7.50 per class per month.

    Tuition Policy

    • Tuition is automatically charged to your credit or debit card on file on the 5th of each month.
    • If you register before August, your card will not be charged again until September. 
    • Tuition includes all recital fees and recital costumes for up to three classes. 
    • Tuition for one class is $850 per instructional year (Aug-May), divided evenly over 10 months.
    • Tuition will be the same whether your child's class meets 5 times in a long month or two times in a holiday or transitional month. 

    Discounts

    • We offer a sibling discount of 15% per family
    • Families who pay tuition in full receive a 5% discount.
    • Discounts do not apply to registration fees, camps, auditions, RDC monthly fees, etc

     Tuition Costs

    • 1 Class = $85
    • 2 Classes = $140
    • 3 Classes = $180
    • 4 Classes = $210
    • 5 Classes = $240
    • 6 Classes = $270
    • 7+ Classes = $300

    Late Payment

    • A $30 late fee will be automatically applied to unpaid accounts on the 20th of each month. 
    • Families with 2 months of non-payment will be dismissed from the studio.

    Class Drops & Changes

    • Drops and transfers must be handled by the studio. 
    • Drop requests must be EMAILED before the 5th of the month.
    • No refunds will be given for drops requested after tuition charges are run.
  • Attendance

    • Regular attendance is vital to student progress and group choreography.
    • Students who miss more than two of the final eight classes before recital may not be able to participate in the recital, at the discretion of the teacher.

    Inclement Weather Policy

    • We follow the Knox County school closings for morning classes.
    • An email and Facebook post announcing the status of afternoon and evening classes will be sent out around noon.

    Communication

    • Email is our main form of communication. Please make sure you register with a "good" email.
    • If you have not received an email from us within the first month, please contact us.

    • October 31st - Halloween | Studio Closed

    • December 16-Jan 3rd – Christmas Break | Studio Closed
    • January 20th - MLK Day | Studio Closed
    • February 17th - Presidents' Day | Studio OPEN
    • March 16th-20th | Knox County Spring Break | Studio Closed
    • May 4th-May 7th | In Studio Dress Rehearsals & Pictures
    • May 11th - Last Day of Class
    • May 12th-14th | Clayton Center Dress Rehearsals
    • May 15th - Recital @ 6:30
    • May 17th - Recital @ 1:00pm & 5:00pm

    Recital

    • Recital dates are May 15th and 17th at the Clayton Center, Maryville.
    • Each class will be in only one show.
    • Students enrolled in more than one class may be in more than one show.
    • Specific show and rehearsal assignments will be posted in the studio, on the website, and emailed to families in early February.
