• Julie Barton

    Julie was a VOLS cheerleader in the late 90s and served as Head Cheerleader in her senior year. She returned a few years later to coach the UT dance team, leading them to a second place finish at the UDA Collegiate Dance Nationals.  After five years of rewarding work at Children's Hospital Rehab Center, she opened Revolution Dance. Read more about Julie here....

  • Cristin Lewis

    Head Instructor + RDC Director + RDC Seniors Coach

    Cristin has 15 years of competitive dance experience. She wrapped up her fourth year on the UT dance team by winning the national championship title with her teammates. Cristin has taught dance for six years. She loves being able to watch and be a part of her dancers' growth. She appreciates the special role of seeing them develop new skills, a stronger passion and an extended bond with teammates.

  • Sonya Scott

    Office Manager

    The closest Sonya has come to a life of dance is twirling baton in high school and working at Revolution Dance. She joined Revolution Dance after a convoluted career path as a high school teacher, stay-at-home mom and wedding planner. Sonya handles billing, assists with company competition entries and works the front desk a few hours each week. She's the one most likely to read your emails and answer your phone calls during the day. 

    Favorite Bible Verse: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

  • Megan O'Malley

    Instructor + RDC Teens Coach

    Megan O'Malley has been dancing since age three. Growing up, she was a member of the Perseverance Dance Company in Illinois She's a member of the UT Dance Team, which one the NDA national championship in 2015. She loves instilling her passion for dance in her students and watching them grow as dancers.

  • Macy Brink

    Instructor + RDC Pre-Teens Coach

    Macy has been dancing for 17 years, most recently as a member of the 2015 national champion University of Tennessee Dance Team. She loves seeing the development of her students as dancers and individuals. She finds it both humbling and joyful to play a positive, encouraging and loving role in their students' lives. 

    Favorite Bible Verse: "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers." 1 John 3:16

  • Kathleen McPherson

    Instructor + RDC Juniors Coach

    Kathleen started dancing at age three and has taught dance for the past four years. After taking a year off to pursue dance, she made her way to UT to continue her education and eventually teach at Revolution Dance. She enjoys working with students who are passionate about dance and is motivated by their growth and positivity. 

    Favorite Bible Verse: All glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:20

  • Carolyne Meyers

    Instructor

    Carolyne started dance lessons when she was three. As a child and young teen, she won a national championship as a member of two different dance teams. In between, she sang and danced internationally as a member of the Nashville-based Christian pop group, pureNRG. Her proudest dance moment was sharing her second national championship with her team members, because it was something they all accomplished together.  Outside of teaching, she stays involved in dance through competitions and events with her sorority at UT.

    Favorite Bible Verse: "He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow strong and weary and young men stumble and fall; But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength." Isaiah 40: 29-31

    Acro Instructor

    Dakota grew up at TNT Gymnastics in Maryville.  He has been instructing or coaching since 2010. When he's not doing either, you can find him playing guitar, camping or hiking.
